Many BOINC projects make their source code available and many times much to the projects benefit. Faster SSE2, AVX, and other speedups have been done, tested, and approved for use by these other projects.

Is the source code available for this project?

Has any attempt been made to speed things up with an SSE2 or other optimization?

Thanks!

Thank you very much.

One question, I noticed the main file is titled "Wep108.cpp" and notice we are running version 1.13 (64b).

Are all the files up to date to recompile and generate an exact copy of your code?

Thanks!

Pretty much, there is no direct connection between version numbers. I used wep104.C for some of the earlier ones, but later improved the code slightly to wep108.C for some of the later ones. wep108.C is a bit cleaner, but otherwise there is no substantial difference. (the actual algorithm, IIRC, is actually in factorize64.C anyway)
