_

I've got a problem here:

There are two running workunits that have an Elapsed time of OVER 13 HOURS. However, neither has anything displayed as a To completion time... nothing but "---"

I'm beginning to think these are "infinite" WU's... I don't want to waste any more processor time if they will never finish.

If these workunits don't ever finish, I can't turn them in (without aborting them)

If I can't turn these WU's in, I won't get any credit for them.

If I don't get any credit for them, I will be quite frustrated.

Please help!

What is the spec of your computer? On a modern, fastish machine, they should only take about half an hour, but an older machine could be significantly slower. I have not (as yet) implemented any progress bar, so you won't see any gradual progress until they're (hopefully) done...

I've just looked at the spec of your computer, and it's perhaps a _little_ slow (at least not ultra zippy :) and you're running the older 32-bit app for PowerPC Mac, so you _might_ just have to be a bit patient...
I hope (and expect) that you will see a completion in due course

I'm also getting WU's taking a long time and going over the time limit. I've a
Pentium 3 M running Linux & an iMac G4 PPC. I was wondering whether you had a min spec you considered for your project?

Cheers

As an update, I built a P3 933 Mhz Coppermine desktop machine and installed Ubuntu on it. Got a new WU and left the machine running. WU completed in a about 14 hours, so I've got a current benchmark for wu length on older P3 machines. I can use this as a rough gauge for my iMac G4.

Cheers
